We have the course, taught be a certified lactation consultant, which will help you prepare for breastfeeding. You will learn the basic skills to enhance the breastfeeding experience. This two-week class is recommended for expecting parents in the seventh and eighth months of pregnancy. This extensive class will help expecting parents achieve a sense of satisfaction with their childbirth experience. Fathers and/or coaches will learn how they can assist expectant mothers during labor and delivery. Postpartum/Baby Care is highly encouraged to take in conjunction with your Childbirth Readiness series. Postpartum/Baby Care classes run concurrently with each Childbirth Readiness class. Fee is $25. Registration includes participant and coach. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and to bring a pillow.

Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you. Free. Anyone is welcome to join at any time.Orthopaedic Physician Talk A member of the Sheboygan Orthopaedic Associates will present a program on joint pain and treatments. Osteoporosis Heel Bone Density Screening Over 28 million Americans, mostly women, are at risk for developing osteoporosis, a gradual thinning and weakening of the bones which can lead to bone fractures. Osteoporosis has no symptoms, it is a silent disease. Bone loss can be detected through bone density testing, and, if caught early, can be stopped or reduced through medical intervention. This screening is appropriate for women over age 45, younger women who have passed menopause, men age 65 and over, and those with a family history of osteoporosis. Fee includes screening, immediate results and individual counseling. Appointments are required. Postpartum/Baby Care Prospective parents learn what to expect during the postpartum period. A physician and/or registered nurse will lead discussions on concerns for new mothers as well as concerns parents may have regarding their newborn. This class is recommended in conjunction with the two week Childbirth Readiness class. Childbirth Readiness classes run concurrently with each Postpartum/Baby Care class. Fee is $10.
